Whiteline Rear Control Arm Lower Front Outer Bushing for 2012-2013 Volkswagen Golf R (MK6)

Whiteline built the Rear Control Arm Lower Front Outer Bushing for the 2012-2013 Volkswagen Golf R. Order it as part number W63552. Included: 2 shell bushings and 2 tubes. The chassis code on the listing is MK6. This part is for the rear of the vehicle.

A control arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.

Installation is rated moderate, with about 3 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. Working on the same car? We also list Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, and Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit for the Golf R.
