The Whiteline Rear Trailing Arm Lower Front Bushing fits the 2006-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX (GD/GG). Position: rear. Included: 4 bushings, 2 tubes, and grease. Whiteline part number: W61381A.
A trailing arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 2 hours. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground. To go with it on the Impreza WRX, see 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, Front Steering Rack And Pinion Mount Bushing, and Front Control Arm Lower Inner Rear Bushing.
