For the 1991 Mazda 626 LE, Whiteline makes the Front Sway Bar Link Bushing (21mm OD). Position: front. Part number W21169. In the box: 8 bushings. The listing names the LE trim. It is listed for the GD chassis.
A sway bar link has a bushing at each end where it connects to the bar and the suspension, and those bushings let the link pivot. When they are soft or worn, the bar takes up slack before it begins resisting body roll, which feels like a delay in turn-in and shows up as clunking. Replacing them restores a firm connection. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Expect an easy job of about 1 hour. It does not require a wheel alignment. To go with it on the Mazda 626, see 12mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts and Front Sway Bar Washer Kit.
