Made for the 2005 Ford Escape (CD2), the Whiteline Front Sway Bar Link Assembly firms up the connection between the sway bar and the suspension. With the newest Escape in this range now 21 years old, original bushings and joints have had a long time to wear, and a tired one is easy to feel on the road.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the front sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. Its adjustable body lets you set the length with the car on the ground, so the bar is not twisted against its own mounts before the car even moves.
This listing covers the 2005 model year of the Ford Escape on the CD2 chassis. The listing names the XLT No Boundaries, XLT Sport versions. You receive 2 links. Expect a moderate job of about 1 hour. No alignment is needed afterward. Working on the same car? We also list 12mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts and Rear Sway Bar Link for the Escape.
