Whiteline Front Strut Tower Brace Quick Release Kit for 2002-2012 MINI Cooper Base, S (R50/R56)
$15.36 $51.19
Owners of the 2002-2012 MINI Cooper Base, S can fit the Whiteline Front Strut Tower Brace Quick Release Kit. It goes on the front of the vehicle. Whiteline”s note for this fit: Allows for quick and easy removal of strut tower brace. In the box: 2 clamps. The part number is KSB790. The listing names the Base and S trims. It is listed for the R50/R56 chassis.
A solid strut tower brace stiffens the front of the chassis, but it can get in the way of work under the hood. Quick release clamps trade the fixed hardware for ones that open fast, so the brace is easy to take off and refit.
Installation is rated moderate, with about half an hour of work listed. A wheel alignment is not required. To go with it on the Cooper, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Heavy Duty Blade Adjustable 20mm Rear Sway Bar, and Front Sway Bar Bushing Kit.
