Whiteline Front Strut Tower Brace for 2006 Subaru Outback R VDC Limited (BP/BR)
$70.17 $233.89
Made to fit the 2006 Subaru Outback R VDC Limited (BP/BR), the Front Strut Tower Brace from Whiteline. Trim named on the listing: R VDC Limited. In the box: 1 strut brace. Order it as part number KSB630. This part is for the front of the vehicle.
A strut tower brace ties the two upper strut mounts together with a rigid bar, so the tops of the front struts cannot flex independently when cornering loads push on the body. Holding them steadier helps keep alignment angles consistent and sharpens turn-in and steering feel.
Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about half an hour. No alignment is needed afterward. To go with it on the Outback, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, and Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit.
