This page covers the Whiteline Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front Bushing for the 2012-2016 Buick Verano Base. Trim named on the listing: Base. The chassis code on the listing is Delta II. Order it as part number W53431. The kit contains 4 bushings and 2 tubes. Position: front.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Installation is rated difficult, with about 2.5 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. To go with it on the Verano, see Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, 12mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, and Heavy Duty Blade Adjustable 22mm Rear Sway Bar.
