Hull of the box is constructed of .080 bright diamond treadplate aluminum
Bottom of the box is constructed of .125 smooth aluminum and welded in with full arc welds
Lid is constructed of .080 bright diamond treadplate aluminum with an inner stiffener of .090 smooth aluminum
Welds are full arc welds, no spot welds
Lid is attached to the hull of the box with two 4″” stainless steel butt hinges
Hinges are welded to the box and lid
Full size stainless steel paddle latch is recessed into the lid
Two keys are furnished per box
Lid is equipped with a gas pressure shock for one-hand opening of the box
Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in the lid to seal against the flange around the box opening
Mounting hardware is an extruded aluminum mounting clamp that eliminates drilling through the pickup bed rail. Plastic isolator keeps mounting clamp from scratching paint, preventing galvanic corrosion
