The Whiteline Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link fits the 2007 Subaru Outback 2.5i Basic (BR). Whiteline”s note for this fit: Adjustable Extra Heavy Duty. Position: rear. The listing names the 2.5i Basic trim. Part number KLC144. You receive 2 links.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the rear sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. Its adjustable body lets you set the length with the car on the ground, so the bar is not twisted against its own mounts before the car even moves.
Expect a moderate job of about 1 hour. It does not require a wheel alignment. To go with it on the Outback, see 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit, and Front Steering Rack And Pinion Mount Bushing.
