Whiteline Rear Control Arm Lower Rear Outer Bushing for 2015-2018 Audi Q3 (8U)

The Whiteline Rear Control Arm Lower Rear Outer Bushing fits the 2015-2018 Audi Q3. The chassis code on the listing is 8U. In the box: 4 bushings and 2 tubes. Whiteline part number: W63554. Position: rear.

A control arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.

Expect a moderate job of about 3 hours. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. To go with it on the Audi Q3, see Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link Kit, and Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front Bushing.
