Made to fit the 2008 Volkswagen Eos Turbo, VR6, the Rear Control Arm Lower Front Outer Bushing from Whiteline. Part number W63552. The listing names the Turbo and VR6 trims. The kit contains 2 shell bushings and 2 tubes. It is listed for the 1F chassis. Placement: rear.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 3 hours. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. To go with it on the Volkswagen Eos, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, and Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link.
