Fitted to the 2010-2012 Dodge Caliber: the Whiteline Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front Bushing (14mm ID). It goes on the front of the vehicle. The kit contains 4 bushings and 2 tubes. It is listed for the PM chassis. Part number W0593.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Installation is rated difficult, with about 2.5 hours of work listed. An alignment is required after installation. To go with it on the Caliber, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, and Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link.
